Proposal
In my proposal to Ecuadorthey need more money. The U.S. should help more and not waste the money they have. Also they need more time. The government waste lots of time and dont help the most needed. In Ecuador there still a lot of poverty in the South.Eho need more money and help for there people.
The U.S. has to create a plan to help not just Ecuador but other countries ho\w need help. Lots of poverty and the governmen also been unfair with them.Other people that could help is the military people. They could serve to the community and help the most needed. There plann should do something to help the places most needed. And that way they would het spread and there not lot of poverty.
The government is a resource where you could go and they are sipose to help there citisen. They should be there refuges at every time. The government should help the people and treat them by the same way. Each person should have an opportunity to work, be free, and have some resources.
In my opinion Ecuador has happy moments but also not so good moments. Eventhough there not so rich they live in an ordinary or at least try to.From Ecuadors background they had lots of war and also many trouble with other countries. If the world was in peace and everyone shold live there life how would it be?

Human Rights
Ecuador is a constitutional republic with a population of almost 14.6 milloin. In September 2008, voters approved a referendum on a new constitution, which was effective that same year on October. On April 26, voters reelected Rafael Correa to a four-year presidential term. The president commission established to investigate human rights violations commited under the government of Leon Febres Cordero (1984-88). In other periods was expected to issue a final report. The Ecumenical Human Rights Commission (CEDHU) reported that mob violence against suspected criminals continued at the level of the preceding year. Such violence occurred particularly in indigenous communities and poor neighborhoods of major cities.
Human Rights
The new constitution acknowledges sexual and reproductive rights. The free Maternity Care Law protect the rights of all women and also calls for free prenatal care, family planning services, and cancer screening. According to the statistics 69 percent of women had skilled attendants present during childbirth. Over 70 percent women used concentraptives, with a 5 percent "unmet need" for family planning.Despite legal protection of women's rights in politics, the home, and employment, societal discrimination against women was pervasive, particularly with respect to educational and economic opportunities for older women and for those in the lower economic strata.According to the government, for example, women received approximately 65 percent of the pay received by men for equal work. Women's advocates alleged that culture and tradition inhibited achievement of full equality for women.

History
Ecuador's modern history has had many trouble to get until what they are now. A long-standing, internal dispute between the conservative city of Quito and the liberal Guayaquil has at times boiled over into violence. Near the turn of the century, leaders on both sides were assassinated, and military dictators have ruled the country for most of its recent history. A very important person in Ecuador is Francisco Pizarro who landed in Ecuador in 1532, accompanied by 180 fully armed men and an equally strong lust for gold.

- Through out history, women were the ones who had to stay at home while their husbands went to work. Women had to stay at home to do the chores and take care of the children and serve their husbands. Today, that has changed in Ecuador. In Ecuador it is reversed. The woman now go to work and most men stay at home to take care of their children.

Ecuadorians visit different homes looking at the nativity scenes and decorations. Children at this time place their list of presents into an old shoe waiting for Papa Noel (Santa Claus) to come and visit. Everyone get together with their family to celebrate Christmas. A special cookie is made and is eaten as a specil treat.
- New Year's is also celebrated in Ecuador but in a different way than in other countries. The ecuadorian tradition is that in the New Year, they make dummy that is stuffed with old clothing and then is burned to celebrate the ending of the old year and the coming of the New Year. Ecuadorians also dress themselves as clowns to recieve the coming of the New Year in a happy and enjoyable way.
